What a great post! I try to involve my son whenever I can. He just started taking a computer programing course at school where he'll be learning how to make basic websites. I told him that if he learned how to make a website, I'd pay him to create a couple for me.

I totally agree. It's best to involve our kids in our work. Aside from the learning they get from our work, we will have a good time together.

I agree with the idea as my wife and I tend to let our kids into understanding the business aspect of things. I even let my teenage kids read books like "Rich Kid, Smart Kid" by Robert Kiyosaki and "Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens" by Sean Covey. It's so much fun having the family involve in the business.

My 3 year old came out of his room the other day and saw me at the computer. "Oh, are you writing already, Mama?"

My kids don`t participate in my work, but they understand that my job is writing. They also know that if they need me, I`m right there for them, which I think is very important. They don`t mind playing on their own as long as they know that if they need a hand, Mama is willing to leave the computer and give it to them.

This is a really great idea! My one is old enough but the other is way too little at this time - but this will be great for the future!
