Ooohhh I hate that! When I was a stay at home mom, I used to get the ," Oh you stay home all day doing nothing?" Someone really said that to me! I was busy with my baby at the time and didn't want to work. Once he went to school, I tried working outside of them home that didn't work out. I had to miss a few of his school functions so I quit. Then I became a work at home mom, and I still get the rude comments. They act as if I stay home all day doing nothing. And I am embarrassed to say this but I am sometimes embarrassed to tell people I work at home. I love my job (independent contractor as a home typist, transcriptionist, etc.) but am not embarrassed of that. I get embarrassed by the comments...thanks for such a wonderful post. I am not going to pay attention to the critics anymore!
