This is so true. There comes a time that I get lonely and bored of my life but I just think of my family especially my son and I'm inspired again. It's really hard to motivate ourselves to work since we are the boss of our own. But it's just a matter of discipline I think. Getting up early in the morning and work for our family still is the best thing that inspires me.

Nice concept. I should give it a try. I am a work at home mom as well and I wake up daily to a racing mind of all the things that need to be done. Of course the list is endless and I try to prioritize in my mind where to start, what's next and mentally time manage my day. Perhaps I'd wake up in a lot better and focused mood if I implemented a system like yours. Thanks for the suggestion!

That is so true and all too often forgotten. As success in so many work from home businesses is arrrived at through daily, determined perseverance it is so important to keep inspired. One thing I do is remind myself why I started in the first place (financial independence, more time with the kids etc.) and returning to that simple inspiration motivates me. Also remembering that the world won't crash around my ears if I get up from the computer (and most of us are working from computers, I think) and do a bit of excersise, look out into the garden or go for a ten minute walk in the park. It all helps pull things back into persoective and release the sources of inspiration. Thanks so much for your timely and insightful post.

I feel overwhelmed and overloaded a lot. I am just starting my work at home business and do not have much help. My husband works 2 jobs and is not home too much. I want my home business to succeed so he can go back to working 1 job and stay at home more with us! But he is awesome! Tonight after dinner he told me I could take a break so I am at the library trying to get some uninterrupted work done! Love him!

My husband has been wonderful with supporting me in my efforts and taking over childcare and cooking in a pinch when I'm behind on a looming deadline. I know I'm lucky -- and so are you!
